As seniors go off to college many of them have to leave their cars behind. The Dart interviewed three seniors who are sad to leave their cars behind for college.

Mary Hart

Mary Hart’s parents got her car, Babe, about 20 years ago. Her two brothers drove it through high school and then Hart got it. It was voted best car this year. Her sisters will inherit her car as she leaves it behind for college. Hart is going to University of Missouri next year and will not need it. One of her favorite parts about her car is the fake bullet holes that her brother put on.

Natalie Rall

Natalie Rall got a brand new Jeep this spring after getting into a car accident. She is not able to drive it until she learns how to drive a stick shift, leaving her around two months with the car. Rall will be attending Tulane University in New Orleans next year and will not need her car. In New Orleans many people ride bikes and take the trolleys to get around. Her car will be passed on to her brother next year.

Katy Wonder

Katy Wonder will be leaving her car, Juniper, as she heads to the City College of New York. The City College of New York, though, has limited parking, mainly for faculty and almost none for students, but Wonder will not need a car due to the large public transportation that is in New York. Wonder is sad to leave her car behind because when she is stressed out she likes to just drive around to calm down.
